Exam Types

Quiz

In the English Preparatory Programme, at least 4 (four) quizzes in each module are conducted on the dates and at the times pre-determined by the Testing and Assessment Unit. In the Russian Preparatory Programme at least 4 (four) quizzes are conducted in each term on the dates and at the times pre-determined by the Head of the Russian Preparatory Programme. Quizzes may be in the forms of paper-based tests, Internet-based tests, or writing quizzes, etc.

Midterm

Midterms are conducted once in each term in the Russian Preparatory Programme and in the evening education of English Preparatory Programme.

End of Module/Term Exam

In the English Preparatory Programme, End of Module Exams are conducted once in every module following the completion of classes while in the Russian Preparatory Programme and evening education of the English Preparatory Programme, the End of Term Exams are conducted once in each term on the dates published in the Academic Calendar following the completion of classes. These exams consist of Use of English, Reading, Listening and Speaking parts. If you fail to meet the attendance requirements, you will automatically lose the right to sit for the End of Module/Term Exam.
