The participants will be informed of significant points to consider in curriculum development, e.g., deciding on content, determining the purpose and values, needs analysis, and awareness of learner profile, determining outcomes of learning objectives, deciding on theory and approach to the curriculum, selecting activities and methods for teaching and learning.2. Testing and Assessment10:00-11:0011:15-12:15Dr. Reza VAHDANIThis session will provide participants with the required knowledge of tests, assessment, and evaluation. It aims to raise awareness of the importance of knowing interrelated concepts, such as content, organizational objectives of the school, learner profile, and the referenced curriculum, and how they influence one another. The participants will also be provided with some practical ideas to support standardization in testing & assessment i.e., pre-test sessions with academic staff, standardization meetings before the evaluation of students’ performance, involving the stakeholders in the process, internal audits, etc. 3. Educational Leadership and Management10:00-11:0011:15-12:15 Dr. Tom GODFREYThe rationale behind this session is to present both theoretical background and practical ideas, giving the participants a line on educational management. The participants have introduced some leadership and management models which may be applied in their contexts, such as transformational leadership, managerial, and contingent.
